They are having problems publishing the User Rooms list. Says so on the java site. IF the room is open (look for status messages on your buddy list) you'll have to one of the public rooms and type the following code into your text entry area (assuming you don't have the room saved in your favorites):
/join ECLECTIC PAGAN FELLOWSHIP:1
Then hit enter and tada!

apparently from what i have gleaned, the user rooms are going to be down for a good while, one user room site i know of, is going to write to yahoo asking to be put on the Yahoo room list,so it`s just a wait and see now.
Apparently the rumors of Yahoo! being sued are true.
Dave did some research on it, and Yahoo! is supposedly getting sued out the @$$.
So maybe they are going the way of MSN. More room controls and stuff like that. UNFORTUNATELY, if this happens, I think Yahoo! will become a strictly paid service. All their traffic will go bye bye.

i did actually write to yahoo some time ago asking if it were possible to be put on yahoo rooms under relegion and beliefs, they said their engineers would look at it, but still no reply, so i`m inclined to think that`s it going to be a no go
I'm pretty sure, they'll start charging for private rooms so they have billing info on people using them that they can turn over to authorities when the (anticipated) tougher rules for user rooms are in place.
