Eco-Village featured

Intentional communities fascinate me, especially those which strive to be ecologically sustainable.  Therefore, it is with great pleasure that I post the following information that just came my way.

Dancing Rabbit Eco-Village, a sustainable intentional community in Missouri, is to be featured on Wednesday, 7/13, on the FX channel in an episode of 30 Days called "Off the Grid."

This should be interesting. I know I've marked my calendar!

Oh, and as you're reading the description of the show, make note of the website, which is just chock full of all kinds of information!

Cool. I've seen ads for that show. Unfortunately I've never been able to sit down and watch it. I know they had a Christian live as a Muslim for 30 days. Personally...I would have loved to see them have to live as a Pagan...and I'm not just talking us regular types, lol, but one of the very observant kind....doing full moon rituals and all.

Ah well.

Maybe you'll get to watch or record the show tomorrow night?  The community posted a great article about the experience on their website:  http://www.dancingrabbit.org/30Days.php

I'm really looking forward to seeing this show.  It sounds like Spurlock is onto a great idea for this series -- a "reality show" that's actually worth watching!
