Sabbat Cakes

Here's a nice traditional recipe for Cakes (as in cakes and wine) for the Sabbat Ritual:

Sabbat Cakes

1/2 cup or 1 stick butter or margarine
2 large eggs
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp milk ( depending on climate, only if dough is too dry)
1 cup flour, regular all purpose or whole wheat
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Mix butter and honey, then beat in eggs.
Fold in flour and cinnamon. If dough is
not moist and sticky, then add the milk.
Roll into crescents and bake 300-325
degrees for 10-12 minutes.

Cool. Dust with confectioners sugar and
nutmeg, or my preference is to brush
with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon
and sugar.

Crescents can be made small, or large for sharing at ritual.

These go great with cider!!! I hope everyone enjoys

Mmmm...that sounds pretty good.

*looks in fridge*

Darn! The cupboards are bare! Looks like I need to do some grocery shopping.
