As most of you know I am from the Central part of Michigan. And I have seen there are no posts here - so I figured I would post and maybe..just maybe .... people will post their states haunts, goblins, and etc.
Now, as for the Witches dancing in the forest...well thats me to be certain, what can I say? I enjoy the frolicing!! lol.
Ok on to some seriousness now...
I have heard that there is a place (a bar and resturant) that is in Bay City that is very conductive to "supernatural" occurances. Interesting huh?
In Detroit - there is a legend of a "red dwarf" which has been seen for over 200 years and when this little ghoul is seen, there will be tragedy will befall the town soon.
And theres a friendly, life - saving ghost in this bustling vehicle making town as well. This ghost has actually saved peoples lives.
In Grand Rapids, there is a family of ghosts that haunt a beautiful mansion.
In Paradise, there is an actual "ghost town" where all of these ghosts happily go on with thier daily lives..like an old sea captain, a logger and a blue - veiled lady in the Biehl house.
If you've ever been to the Sister Isles in Wyandotte, you may possibly hear three Indian maidens whom were banished here (as they could not get along together) crying and wailing.
Well, I hope that piqued your imagination and curiosity. I shall keep hunting up more information and post them as I find them.
Lets start with cemetaries. Now they are scary places to begin with, but at night, they are worse than scary...
Eloise Cemetary --- a family home which have Orbs. Residual energies from spectral beings...or tricks of the light. No one is certain.
Soop Cemetary - more orbs
Oakwood Cemetary - a glowing headstone
Jennie Jenkins Grave - mist or is it a spectre or possibly what?
Thayer Cemetary - a bright outlined fairy? orbs, many many orbs, trianglular orbs.
The Shoe Tree - Urban Legend - There are many shoes up at the top, where you cannot get to them..how where they put there? The event that took place here took place long ago, before adidas was made, there was a guy, he would go into town, kidnap childeren, kill them and throw thier shoes in the tree, you used to be able to go there, yell out inot the field help, and sometimes you would get a scream back. the old shoes are long gone now though. The fact that the old shoes are gone, but the house is still in the field. dont drive your car back the old overgrown driveway, the electrical system will never work the same again, the house makes a person very uneasy, so maybe whomever or whatever still remains does not like visitors.
The Denton Demon - can one capture a demons face in their camera lens?
Greenfield Village and Museum - the two that are active are: Firestone Farm and Webster Home.
Flint Holiday Inn - what is it that keeps this ghost here? Will you spend a night in this old room and find out?
Mackinac Island - a fun tourist place, but when looked at at night, is it the ghosts that are at play? Or is it simply humans? What if I tell you that Fort Mackinac is closed at night, yet it glows red? Or that there are many orbs hanging in the air at the cemetary?
