Question

I'm a solitary pagan who is drawn to the Egyptian gods, especially Thoth and Isis. Are there any books or site you would recommend?

Ok, I'm not the resident expert on Egyptian Paganism, but I'll make an attempt here to help out if I can. Not all these sites may be on the deities, but maybe there is other info you can glean from them.

Ancient Egyptian Religion, Paganism, and Wicca
Kemet.org
Modern Egyptian Ritual Magick

I don't know how new you are to the Egyptian path, but there are a few books out there:

The Sacred Magick of Ancient Egypt: The Spiritual Practice Restored
The Sacred Tradition in Ancient Egypt: The Esoteric Wisdom Revealed
Egyptian Paganism for Beginners

I personally haven't read any of these books, but I have seen them in B&N, so maybe you might want to look them up sometime.

Welcome Obahotep.

I am going to give you a few sites that I myself use to get to know the Gods/Goddesses better, it gives you a small insight into what they are patron of, Apperance, Discription and worship.

Isis, http://www.touregypt.net/godsofegypt/isis.htm

Thoth, http://www.touregypt.net/godsofegypt/thoth.htm

If you want to know about other gods/goddesses, please look here, http://www.touregypt.net/godsofegypt/ it lists all known gods/goddesses, you never know, you may find another that you have a connection with.

If you wish to know about the old Pharaonic Religion of Ancient Egypt, look here, http://www.touregypt.net/featurestories/religion.htm

In fact, if you want to know anything about Ancient Egypt just look at, http://www.touregypt.net/ancientegypt/

If you have anymore questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
