Root Beer for after ritual?

Yes, Root Beer!  It is one of my favorite drinks and is perfect for any reason. Here is a recipe for making Root Beer in fairly easy fashion..remember, yeast makes gas and pressure can be enough to blow out bottles, I recommend using plastic milk jugs. THis recipes makes one gallon:

Ready in: > 5 hrs
Difficulty: 2
(1=easiest :: hardest=5)
Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar

  • 1 teaspoon yeast -- scant

  • 2 tablespoons root beer extract
Directions:
Put all ingredients in a clean gallon jug, with about a quart of very warm (about 98F) water. Stir until ingredients are well mixed. Finish filling the jug with warm water. Let stand six hours lightly covered (so the lid is not sealed). At the end of the six hours, screw lid on and refrigerate.

Oh wow, I didn't know you could make your own rootbeer! I LOVE rootbeer, especially A&W.

I hope I'll get the chance to try this.
