As I lay me Down to Sleep, In my sorrow I do Weep, Nothing Lost is Nothing Gained, When I pray my God Profane.
Pain is Pleasure, Good Deeds are Sin, In this world tis just Us who wither, As God Profane draws us in.
Look to the Sky, See the Saviour Rise on High, Cursing and Blaspheming on his Brazen Throne, He who Scorns the Blessed Crone.
See his Grandeur - See his Grace, Hatred writ upon His Face, Cast out the Heathen - Virtuous or Not, Tis His Creed and Lust and Lot.
So When I Lay Me Down to Sleep, He doth See how Hard I weep, And it is My Pleasure, as tis His Pain, When I Regret, my God Profane.
